firecleanThis Privacy Policy explains how FireClean handles information when you browse the website, purchase a license, activate it or use the app. Dodo Payments has its own Privacy Policy for information it processes as Merchant of Record.
Information we collect
The desktop app processes file paths, scan results and cleanup manifests on your computer so it can show eligible cleanup items. It does not send those details to FireClean or Dodo. Local preferences, your license key and activation receipt are stored on your PC; the key and receipt are protected using Windows account encryption. No app account is required.
If you contact support, we receive the email address and any information you include in your message. For website requests, Vercel may process technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time.
Dodo processes purchase and license information, such as your checkout details, payment status, order reference and license activation requests. FireClean may receive limited order details, such as your purchase email, order reference and payment status, to support your purchase. We do not receive your full card number.
How we use information
FireClean uses information available to us to provide the website and app, support purchases and license activations, respond to support requests, and protect the service. Dodo and Vercel use information they process under their own policies.
License activation
When you activate, validate or deactivate a license, the app sends the license key and activation details directly to Dodo’s license service. A generated device label is included when a device is activated. FireClean’s website does not receive your license key. See Dodo’s Privacy Policy for its handling of checkout and license data.
Website and cookies
The interactive example uses predefined sample values. It cannot inspect your computer or delete files. Its selection state lives only in the current page and is not sent to a server or stored in cookies. FireClean has not added advertising cookies, tracking pixels or analytics scripts.
Service providers
Dodo Payments processes checkout, tax, digital delivery and license requests as Merchant of Record. Vercel hosts this website and processes technical request information to deliver and secure it. See Vercel’s Privacy Policy and Dodo’s Privacy Policy for their practices.
Use and retention
FireClean uses order details available to us to support purchases and respond to requests. We keep support correspondence only as long as needed to resolve the request and retain records where required by law. Dodo and Vercel manage their own records under their policies. You can remove locally stored license data by deactivating the key or removing the app’s stored data.
Your rights
Depending on your location, rights may include access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction and objection. For requests about information FireClean holds, contact aghitsbusiness@gmail.com. For data Dodo handles, use the contact options in its Privacy Policy. Required transaction records may need to be retained.
Children and changes
The service is not directed to children under 16. This policy will be updated when our data practices change.
